Covid-19 completely transformed the manner in which Family Law is practiced. Most commonly, legal documents can now be e-signed and e-filed with the court, and your one and only court hearing finalizing your divorce is not conducted via Zoom for a vast majority of courtrooms.
Solace shifted from a 100% in-person mediation practice to a 100% virtual Zoom mediation practice. The benefits and beauty of this shift have been extraordinary as we can now serve people all over the globe!
Here are a few of the highlights of navigating through your divorce journey virtually:
1. You can tune in from a space that makes you feel comfortable and safe as opposed to having to drive, find parking, navigate to an unfamiliar office, and get comfortable.
2. You will not be in the physical presence of your partner which will eliminate you being emotionally triggered by the way he/she smells, breaths, moves, and energetically feels.
3. You can surround yourself with pets, plants, essential oils, and anything else that helps you feel supported and secure.
4. Since you are in the safe space you created, it will be easier for you to center yourself and hone in on your individual authentic truth, and because you are comfortable, you will have the courage to share your authentic truth in the mediation Zoom room.

Authenticity is the key to the Solace Mediation Kingdom. In order to reach the agreements that are going to best serve your life experience, and emerge from the Journey stronger than you entered, you need to be honest in sharing your truth.

The truth not only sets you free, but it sets your partner free too.
